Fes desert Tours 3 days

The fes desert tour 3 days will start around 7am where you will begin to travel southeast to Merzouga, passing through multiple cities in the Middle Atlas mountain range. The first stop will be Ifran, referred to as "the Switzerland of Morocco", followed by Azrou and the famous cedar forest, where you might see some Barbary apes, then Errashidia, and finally on to Merzouga by way of Midlet and the Ziz Valley. During this journey you’ll experience picturesque scenery of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas Mountains. You will notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errashidia. We will stop for lunch and picture worthy panoramic views along the way. We will also drive through welcoming Berber villages such as Rissani, the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty, which is the current ruling royal family of Morocco. Arriving in Merzouga at the end of the day, you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you check-in to your riad. You will be able to relax for a short time before meeting the camels that will take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will then spend the night in an equipped camp/nomad tent with an enjoyable evening of listening to drums and music in the Sahara at sunset.

2nd day : Explore desert region - Nomads - Gnawa music, Erg Chebbi

On the second day, following a delightful breakfast, you have the freedom to choose your own adventure. You can opt for a leisurely stroll amid the vast Erg Chebbi dunes, a refreshing dip in the hotel swimming pool, or perhaps a shopping expedition to the neighboring villages of Merzouga. In Merzouga, you'll find the largest underground natural reservoir in Morocco, offering a unique insight into the region's geography. You can also visit the charming village of Khamlia, known as the 'village of the black people,' where the descendants of Sudanese slaves will captivate you with their mesmerizing Gnawa music performances.
As the day gives way to dusk, your trusty camel awaits, ready to guide you through the mesmerizing desert sunset on a memorable ninety-minute camel trek across the ever-shifting sands. Your destination is a traditional Berber desert camp, nestled amidst majestic dunes. Here, your experienced guide will prepare an authentic Moroccan feast for you to savor.
